Could you share a little about yourself?
Where are you living these days, and what do you do?
I'm living in southeast London. Lived here all my life. I would say I'm an eclectic eccentric creative. All the different things that I do are to allow authentic expression. I have a podcast called ‘On The Sofa with Esther’ where I Interview legends and pioneers in music, film and entertainment. I also have a magazine that is called ‘TurningPoint: Music and LIfestyle’ that empowers individuals to step outside the box, step outside what they think is available and open to them and have this expansive experience of life.
How did you find your way into this profession?
From a child, I felt different, I knew there was something different in terms of how I experienced the world, and how I experienced things around me. I used to say back then that "I danced with fairies" because I was always in my own world dancing and yes, those fairies were real. As I got older, I realized I had this empathy, I was able to feel and sense what people were feeling, I was in tune with their pain. So, everything I do has been birthed through my life experiences. Therefore my passion and compassion is to touch people's lives. Whether that is inspiring them through my poetry, my podcast, my fashion range or in my magazine. Another part of my profession is that I am an Energy Healer.

What’s your approach to personal style?
My style is how I’m feeling on any given day. Sometimes, I don’t even know what I’m going to wear, then I get a vision, I pick something up and it works.
I remember when I was younger, my father used to find me going through his wardrobe. He had some beautiful clothing, I especially loved his Trilby hat, waistcoats and jumpers. Some years ago I went to a concert and I dressed in black and red, then I wore one black Dr. Martens boot and one red Dr. Martens boot, I did the same with my earrings and it rocked and people were reacting to my style all evening. It was just me expressing who I really am, my eccentric creative self. I think that energy inspires others to tap into their own creative side to expand more into who they truly are.
Has there been any professional highlight where our frames
played a starring role? I'd love to hear about it!
I went to America last year on a mini tour, to promote my magazine and my full brand. A good friend of mine, renowned Photographer Randi Childs flew in from New York to LA to attend my event in Los Angeles. She also arranged a photoshoot with myself and legends ‘The Former Supremes’ who I’ve interviewed many times and have become friends with. We had a fabulous fun day, and I felt really honored to be around women who were so pivotal to the music industry. I was wearing this orange outfit from my fashion range, and Ronit’s black-andwhite glasses. They matched so well and just popped.

And finally, how did you first discover our brand,
and what made you want to wear it?
It was probably during lockdown, if I remember correctly. I was doing a lot of my shows online at the time, on a Facebook channel called Soul TV. I was looking for some glasses that would resonate with the vibe of my show, and that’s when I came across Ronit Fürst. These glasses represented freedom, joy, and a sense of eccentricity, which beautifully matched the feel of my show.
