Simply Black

“You can wear black at any time. You can wear it at any age. You may wear it for almost any occasion.”
— Christian Dior

Color symbolism is universal and usually shows similarities across cultures and time periods. In this realm, Black is one of the most symbolic and mythical colors. In 1926, Coco Channel coined the term little black dress - LBD. It represented the power of simplicity, and established the importance of this color in the world of fashion.

Black is perceived as a lack of color, since it absorbs all light on the visible spectrum, but it can also be interpreted as the fullest color - it is nothing and everything.

Although my eyewear designs are known for their vibrant explosion of colors, Black has always been one of my favourite colors. I wanted to include this wonderful color in my eyewear designs, and to cater to those seeking a more subtle version of Ronit Furst frames.

I decided to balance between the primal, clean black and the bright, detailed patterns of my previous works. Half Black is the best of both worlds - Half classic-sleek-chic, half expressive-eccentric-unique.
